At an invitation of the Grammar school 157 from St. Petersburg, the UN members of the Grammar School “Crnjanski” and their mentor, professor Jelena Veselinovic, were active participants of the SPIMUN conference representing the simulation of the UN session for secondary school students. The conference was held from March 26 to March 29 this year in St. Petersburg. The debate was conducted in English, and the participants were divided into several committees. Our students were given the task of representing the state of Canada on environmental issues and human rights. The interviews were conducted with other participants from India, Pakistan, the USA, Russia, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt …

In addition to participation in the conference, the students visited the St. Petersburg landmarks: Hermitage, the Water Museum, the Faberge Museum, Kazan, Smolensk, the Church of the Savior on Blood and the St. Isaac’s Cathedral.
